The Crate CA6110DG Gunnison Acoustic Guitar Amplifier features 60W, a 10" speaker, 2 channels, master EQ, XLR and 1/4" input jacks, DSP, RCA inputs with level control, and XLR and 1/4" outs with ground lift and level control. Automatic feedback elimination circuit, which places a 20Hx wide, 15dB notch at the point of an offending frequency, is quickly user-selectable through a footswitch and can be reset if the player changes instruments or installs a capo, creating different feedback challenges.
Crate's CA series amps feature Evergreen Tolex covering and earthtone metal grilles for the best in quality design with organic aesthetics. They continue the tradition of premium sonic performance that has made Crate acoustic amplifiers a favorite. Award-winning onboard Digital Signal Processing (DSP), including a variety of reverbs, delays, chorus, and multiple effects settings, with an extremely versatile EQ section gives players access high-end studio monitor system playback sound. OK, lets be fair here, sure, you can adjust the knobs on this thing and make it sound awful. You can likewise adj. it to sound like pure heaven, or, at least as good as my strawberry blond, the best accoustic amp I've ever played through. But, this amp sounds real close though. And, it has more FX, which is why I bought it. You should hear my Rainsong parlor guitar, with its fishman clasic 4 tuned to DADGAD through this thing and you'll become a believer too. Now there are a lot of knobs to adj. and a little tweeking goes a long way, so, don't over do it. As far as the previous revue goes, his buzzing was most likely a result of the gain being cranked too much, a TV or computer being on and too close, or, a fan or heater, anything with a motor will do it. a badly grounded outlet, or any combo of the above. cell phones drive this thing nuts. Just use your ears & a little common sense and you'll really enjoy it. peace out...
