Great buy for the money

By Kit Brown

from North Carolina

Comments about Boss ODB-3 Bass OverDrive Pedal:

This pedal is the best overdrive pedal that I have ever used. It can have a "static-o-matic" sound, a deep low sound, and much more. It is also great for just being a color boost as well. This is a must have for any bassist who loves to play rock/metal.

no other

By Marc M.

from West Chester, PA

Comments about Boss ODB-3 Bass OverDrive Pedal:

I've had this thing for about four years. Not a single problem. It's been dropped, stomped, rolled, you name it. It took me alittle bit to find my settings, but once I found them, a whole world of possibilities came to me. I like a really saturated overdrive that kind of barks when you really dig into the strings. Let me tell you, this thing freaking' roars. I'll will probably experiment with others in the future, but I don't ever see another pedal taking this one's place.

Great Pedal

By Adam Luche'

from Chesterton, IN

Comments about Boss ODB-3 Bass OverDrive Pedal:

This pedal is awesome. It has a really wide range of sounds that can keep you busy for a long time. Easy to adjust, however very sensitive. Gets nice sound, but is still quite loud. Great for almost any kind of music. Bottom line, a great pedal for a good price.

good deal

By stevo

Comments about Boss ODB-3 Bass OverDrive Pedal:

Good pedal. Like every other boss, strong overdrive, but the knobs are kind of jumpy (hard to fine tune). The distortion is not as good as you would get from a Digitech. Watch the batteries too. If you leave the input side plugged in you'll kill the battery in about three days. Don't let the battery die on stage or you'll get a nasty squeal with it off or on. I change the batteries before every gig. Its a good deal, but don't make it your only pedal.

This is the coolest sound you can get

By XTBailey

from Humbolt, CA

Comments about Boss ODB-3 Bass OverDrive Pedal:

This is the coolest effect ever. You can thrash your E string and sound like Jason Newstead, Play melodic and sound like Geezer Butler, or make your style. I've had one of these for a month now, and I still keep finding ways to play with it. And for a stomp-box, it's not even that pricey.

Good pedal.

By Bob-8ZDou

from CA.

Comments about Boss ODB-3 Bass OverDrive Pedal:

This is a pretty good pedal. It's got really good overdrive, the distortion is all right, but not the best. It can drown out lots of other people's sounds, but if you're looking for just distortion, I'd go for the PD-7 Phat Head.

Cool, obviously.

Comments about Boss ODB-3 Bass OverDrive Pedal:

This pedal is nice. It has good distortion, it can power up the normal sound and not just the overdrive. Distorts, has hi and low knobs, yeah, it's cool.

Lets get heavy!

By HEAVY

from San Fransisco, CA.

Comments about Boss ODB-3 Bass OverDrive Pedal:

This pedal is so adjustable and easy to use and gives an immense amount of distortion and grunge. Those guitarist think they can have all the fun with noise? Think again! With this pedal, you can crush a puny guitarist's noise out with your heavy distortion and tone. AWESOME!
