Now i get it !
Comments about Boss LMB-3 Bass Limiter Enhancer:
I bought this pedal because i wanted to experiment with effects because all my guitarist friends have lots of effects. I bought it and when i got it i used it like mad for the first day and then it went into the cupboard along with my karate kit and skateboard. To me it made sod all difference. Now i know what it does and i use it all the time. Great pedal (if you know how to use it)

Good
Comments about Boss LMB-3 Bass Limiter Enhancer:
Well, anyone who plays bass must admit there is no more fun when playing, then jumping around, and going crazy. However, without a good compression driver, your tone may be bad due to all of your movement, and lack of hand control, or, you may overload you amp by striking the string too hard. But, Boss has made a very nice compression driver, which allows you to be free to go crazy, but not lose tone, or damage your amplifier. The "Enhance" feature is more like an extra treble control, but it's use is probably more for dulled or old strings, to give them their twang back. If you're using new strings however, you may want to knock the enhance down a little, or even off. Overall, a nice, and extremely convenient pedal to own.

An Essential Bass Pedal!
Comments about Boss LMB-3 Bass Limiter Enhancer:
This is probably one of the most under-rated effects pedals of our time! I also have the Boss CEB-3 Bass Chorus, the Boss TU-2 Chromatic Tuner, and the Boss BCB-3 Carry Box to keep it all in with the Boss PSA-120 AC Adaptor. This pedal completes my ultimate bass effects set-up. It is not one of the most popular pedals and you would be lucky to find a local store stocking it. This made me want it all the more! Simply put, every bassist should have one of these and at this price you can't afford not to have it. You need this if you are a slap player. This baby will take your bass and make it sound as if your bass cost a whole lot more than it actually did! It also makes your strings sound like new again! How does it do that? Well it's really two pedals in one. The Limiter effect is like a bass compressor but with more control than your average compressor pedal. The Threshold control lets you specify the volume level at which the compressor kicks in. You can use it to just take that nasty harsh edge off your sound when slapping without dulling the sound. The Ratio knob controls the amount of the compression itself. It is a very nice arrangement. Then just when you think your sound might need a little pep put back in it, there is the Enhance control which brightens the sound which adds crystal-clear clarity and presence. The Level control should be set last to a position where the overall volume is the same when the pedal is on or off. Trust me. You will never want this off! So basically, you get to control your sound and increase the quality of the sound, making your bass sound very expensive even when it's not! How's that for value for your money?! Nice one Boss.
