Powerful Distortion
Comments about Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion Pedal with Remote Jack:
Good pedal, delivers a clear powerful sound. You can adjust it to various modes according to your favorite sounds. The one thing I don't like about this pedal is the 'Mode II' thing, which sounds bad in my opinion. But if you want a good pedal and cannot afford an expensive one, this is THE pedal for you.

Great Pedal
Comments about Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion Pedal with Remote Jack:
This is one sweet pedal. I'm a big Nirvana fan and when I was looking for a distortion pedal, I had my mind set on a Boss MT-2 Metal Zone. It caters distortion to however much you want. Kurt Cobain used this. It was his pedal of choice from there-on in. (He used the Boss DS-1 before that when he recorded Nevermind) For the price, you can't go wrong!

Amazing pedal
Comments about Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion Pedal with Remote Jack:
I got this pedal abut 3 weeks ago and I already love it to death. I'm a big Nirvana fan and Kurt used this on the Nevermind, Incesticide, and In Utero tours (he used the DS-1 to record Nevermind and for earlier gigs). He also used it for The Man Who Sold The World.. I hooked it up and played Teen Spirit to the Wishkah album...It was like I was standing up infront of that huge crowd at the tour...amazing pedal....great sound for pretty much any type of rock..really flexible to get the distortion you want..

Great Pedal for the Money!
Comments about Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion Pedal with Remote Jack:
The DS-2 ROCKS! I got this waaay back in the beginning of 2003 I think, and this bad boy is awesome! sounds great, especially with tube amps (I have a traynor YCV-40). Also, if you have a crappy amp, this pedal will definitely help out the sound. great pedal for the price, and you can't beat it! You can't beat boss either, they own everyone out there.

AWESOME PEDAL
Comments about Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion Pedal with Remote Jack:
I've had this pedal for about a year and a half now and it's never let me down. It always delivers that sweet distortion just the way I need it,playing grunge/punk/rock, then when I need it to get heavier, I switch it to turbo and get some good distortion slipknot wise. This pedal is built really well, and by built really well I mean built like a rock. I have dropped the thing down many flights of stairs, kicked it off stage and even tipped my amp over onto into and the thing keep on doing, what it does best, making you sound awesome!

BEST Distortion ever
Comments about Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion Pedal with Remote Jack:
I had the amp on about 2 or 3, and when I hit the first chord it was like the best midranged balanced distortion I have ever heard. Definitely great for pretty much any rock music,(punk, hard rock, grunge, indie) I just fell in love with it, great pedal.

Best Distortion Sound, Ever!
Comments about Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion Pedal with Remote Jack:
This has the best distortion sound you want. Also this is a major (underline 3 times) equipment for a grunge artist. Kurt Cobain used the DS-2 for Nevermind, Incestiside, and In Utro tours. Also a cheaper one is the DS-1 which Cobain used once in Unplugged for the Man Who Sold the World. Overall this is a awesome pad for grunge artists. Awesome. So good I can't describe it.
