This thing is PHAT. I received this particular Boss pedal as a gift, and it is easily the best chorus pedal I have tried. The sound ranges from thick, wet bottom, to crisp, mellow almost glassy tops. The CEB3 also works well with fretless basses, and is unique in that it has a low filter, to ensure you don't sacrifice your low end for a SWEET chorus tone. With a fretless, you don't lose an ounce of MWAH. It is truly amazing. And with it's sturdy build, it will last you for years. On and off stage it proves itself a superior piece of bass engineering. Do yourself a favor, buy one!

I instantly fell in love with this pedal. You can get such a rich, thick, huge sound out of this pedal. There are very few pedals that I have found that can mach this pedal. I would suggest it to anyone.

This pedal is very cool because you can adjust the amount of bottom end that you do or don't want the chorus effect on. It is so adjustable that you can mess with this thing for hours just finding different sounds. If you have been running through a guitar chorus pedal with your bass you should really get one of these. It is a world of difference. This pedal is truly made for the bass.

The boss pedal featured here is my personal favorite bass accessory.If you play live or just like to record cool bass lines this is a must. Even if you're just starting the fine art of bass, you can have fun with this pedal and impress all of your friends! You still may ask "What is different about this pedal from all the rest?"and I would say that the crystal clear bass that comes out of your amp with no distortion or static makes it the best.You hear just what you play and the effect you're looking for.

I want to start by saying that I plan on upgrading ALL of my DOD pedals to something actually worth my time and the ear of my audience. I had this DOD Deep Freeze which sounds terrible. I mean it gets the point across but in a very cheap way. Like DOD is The Hobbit and Boss is Ralph Bakshi's Lord of the Rings right? The DOD Deep Freeze is just a cheesy attempt at a good idea. This Boss that I've only had for a day now, has already impressed me beyond words. It's like I finally know what a chorus pedal is supposed to sound like. And it's mine, all mine! That, and it's much smaller. It leaves about a square inch of extra room on my pedal board. And there's a little known fact about Boss pedals; unless you run them over with an 18-wheeler they will do their job with a smile. The design is rugged and the sound is beautiful. Just beyond words.
