Does exactly as advertized. I'm using it to switch between an upright bass and a bass guitar. I was warned that it might "pop" when I switched, but the active electronics are silent. Exactly what I needed. Great buy too.

Whenever I played a song that required me to go from a standard tuning to say D-tuning, it always took me a bit of time to de-tune my bass. Now, instead of doing that I can always stomp on this nifty little box and I can automatically switch basses on the fly. No more having the guys wait for me to tune down. The construction of this little guy is solid and is definitely has alot of bang for a small buck.

I had previously used an A-B switch that had a noisy machanism, as well as no LEDs on it. The Boss AB-2 is silent when switching, and there is no guessing about which side the switch is set to. The LED's are bright enough to see them in a well-lit room. I also like the sturdiness of the construction, and its compact size.

I bought this unit to use as a channel switch for my Fender Twin Reverb amp. It is perfect for this purpose. The switching is dead silent and there seems to be no insertion loss at all! Also, this unit is solid metal construction with a GT-6 type switch and a rubber base. It couldn't be constructed any better!
