I had bought the X v-amp from Music123, because mine had been stolen. The sound is the same as Vamp 2 and for use in the input of the amp, sound better than Vamp2. The effects are the same quality and the expression pedal is good enough for me.The only thing I don't likes is the manual (always the manual) I can't find how to change the speaker emulation.BUY !!!!!!!!!!!

Overall impression is very good with a lot to chose from; I find especially the tremolo and delay effects excellent. However there is too much delay when you switch banks during a live gig, and on top of that I find that most of the simulations are a) too distorted for my liking and b) ear-piercing trebly - I need to turn the "Presence" all the way down as well as take the treble down on my amp AND my guitar (Fender FMT HH Tele). But still, hard to beat for the money...

Awesome!

Comments about Behringer X V-Amp Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

I just got this pedal like 2 days ago, and I have been so happy with it. There are a lot of effects already stored in, but you can create many more of effects. My only problem is that the pedal is loose, like it doesn't have a spring in it. So you have to have a very soft foot when you use the pedal. But other than that, this product is amazing!!!

Great sound and price!

Comments about Behringer X V-Amp Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

Bought the peddle to add to my bands sound. Couldn't be more happy with it. You do have to mess with some controls and whatnot to get it just right, but I think that's par for the coarse on any thing you do with music.

Incredible for the price

Comments about Behringer X V-Amp Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

I bought this for my daughter who is learning guitar, but, as an expert guitarist, I loved it immediately, because is very user friendly and put together all the most important effects and cabs, but very easily you can change the parameters of every single one to match your preferences, and you can create 100 different combinations! With this, the price is nothing; imagine how much you could spend buying all the pedals separately! No counting the cabinets and amps. Plus the expression pedal, al the group is great. Sounds great in stage, I wish the same in studio.

its ok

Comments about Behringer X V-Amp Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

its ok if you just looking for a short time fix for effects. if anyone rembers the first v amp, you know as much asi know that behringers seem to break after a couple of months. the sounds were okay comeing out of it, but the wah barely had any sweep, but the chorus and delay were good, got some nice acoustics with it. id say if your looking for serious sound, get somem ore cash and buy something better

Hummmmm

Comments about Behringer X V-Amp Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

I've had this unit for a while. Got straight into editing my own sounds after hearing the presets. Great realistic amps sims but the noise gate cuts off long sustains when playing heavy distortion leads (I'm a fan of Boss distortion pedal cranked up) On all moderate to heavy distorted sounds you can hear annoying guitar buzz/hum, yet the guitar has ultra-quiet pickups. If only Behringer included noise-reduction and a better noise-gate. Sorry Behringer, you scored low on this one.

Wow.

By ChrisS-DarnG

Comments about Behringer X V-Amp Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

This pedal is simply an amazing bargain for the money. The effects are numerous and quality. The only downside is the complexity of the pedal (it took me about 6 hours to figure out how to customize presets) and the delay between presets. Otherwise, this pedal suits all of my needs. The acoustic simulation is even excellent!

Awesome!!!

By Christian P H

Comments about Behringer X V-Amp Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

If you want awesome guitar effects for a cheap price, get this! Yeah! It works for all genres of music. To get a serious wail, get some distortion and use of the wah-wah pedal, and set the pedal to the vertical position and let it roll. Also, the coolest thing about the X V-Amp is the Acoustic Sim. Some of my friends love acoustic guitars instead of electric. So now, you get the best of both worlds with one guitar. That sim gives a nice sound to my mandolin too! The Noise Gate gives an awesome swell effect! The only problem I found was with the power supply(MY FAULT!). I tried plugging the power supply to another of my effect pedals, and internal explosion occurred! Tip of the wise: always check the mili-amps and volts of both the power supply and the pedal before hooking it up! It is a must have for any guitarist, both beginner and expert! It's Awesome!

Magic Box !!!

By DougR

from Cleveland,OH

Comments about Behringer X V-Amp Guitar Multi Effects Pedal:

This is the best $70.00 a guitar player can spend. This box will do everything that it says it will. If you take it out of the box and use it just with the presets you will be disapointed. You have to read the manual and get accustomed to it. Once you have that accomplished..the sky is the limit.None of the presets are any good. You have to set up your own. Don't be affraid to play with the knobs. You can make it sound like any one of the amp models listed. I personally play alot of classic rock and I can get a perfect Jimmy Page, out of the British simulators. I'm telling you....it's magic !!
