Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

I have had this amp for three years now and wouldn't trade it for a Peavy, Roland or any other grossly overpriced amp out there. This amp costs less than half of what the others charge and does so much more. I run a Mic and three keyboards through this baby and it sounds great. Able to control volume and sound effects individually on anything plugged into it. It is heavy (65lbs), but it's also packing a 15" speaker so I didn't put that down as "con". I expected this amp to be heavy so I'm not gonna complain about it. If you want light weight buy a smaller size amp. If you want an awsome sounding reliable amp this is it.

it works

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

i picked one of these up a couple years ago and i haven't had too many problems with it. a couple months after i bought it the tweeter blew out. i was able to take it back and get it fixed. ive been more careful with it and it has served me well. bottom line. if your just starting out and you need the best sound quality you can get out of the least amount of money, Beringer all the way. just dont expect it to hold up to constant abuse.

K-3000FX

By Steve-IONMg

from buffalo ny

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

I baught this because I was too cheep to spring for a Roland, I use it to play backing tracks through it,and plug in a boss gt-6 guitar processor and jam my face off. Guss what, I plug my cd recorder in it and bingo ! I can make cd's of me and the tracks. this turned to help me and my playing immensely, I can really sound pro now that I can hear myself wile not concentrating on what I'm playing, Its a whole nuther world to open your eys and ears to.As far as the sound, its a powerfull sound with deep bass, you do have to use the eq or it sounds boomie.

SUPER SUPRISE

By DON PARISH

from HOEPEWELL, VA

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

I've owned this amp since 2/11/08. I had been reading about it for five months. This was the first time I ever bought any amp based on what I had read without trying it first; I' never believed in gambling with my gig sound. This is a gamble that has paid off so far. The 15-inch woofer really thumps, and the tweeter is as clear as a bell. The K3000FX will handle any range of keyboard voice as well as any of the drum sounds from external drum machines or onboard accompaniments from keyboards. This amp weighs at least 20 lbs less than the Peavey KB300 model it was meant to treplace or the Peavey KB 5 that replaced the KB300. I've never seen a keyboard amp with a lighted graphic EQ and and FBQ that setup that allows isolation of frequency ranges that are causing feedback. I have used this amp's stereo link to feed its signal to an external power amp for the main PA when I play with bands. Sometimes I play solo keyboard/vocal gigs. This amp is tailor made for such situations. It utilizes the same type of mains power cord that desktop PCs use. If the cord goes bad, it can easily be replaced with a spare. So far, I haven't had any problems with this amp, but I've never intentionally tried to dog it. The K3000FX does what it is intended to do. Even if it were to fail tomorrow, I've gotten my money's worth from it, allong with a slwe of compliments from other musicians who have seen and heard it.

Boomy 15" may or may not be for you

By RiverRock Paul

from Red Bluff, CA

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

bought a K3000FX about 1 1/2 yrs ago when thet first came out. Was replacing my old KFx1000 (?) which Smoked. as a keyboardist I want a flat clean amp so I dont care about the effects, which work fine. The Bass is always boomy and louder than the middle register or highs, cant set EQ to solve the lack of midrange when all you got is a 15" and a horn, the old amp was a 3way, much better. dont buy this 15" model unless you want huge bottom, weak mids, and bright highs. Buy the 12' model...........mine is for sale!

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

this amp is amazing!! it can crank but as it ages the highs begin to distort. you will only notice this if u use a keyboard with it. the bass a vocals remain perfect. i've used it as my only PA for small gigs.

Behringer AMPs are taking over

By Billy Pruett

from Dallas

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:

If you have not experienced the Behringer PA/keyboard AMP then you are missing out on a wave of change in the market of AMPS. This PA/keyboard AMP supplies all the versatility and power you would ever want. You can run bass guitars thru it, 6 strings, acoustic guitars and vocals all at the same time and each sounds incredible. And, for the money...you can't beat a Behringer. A Marshall or a Peavey is just a name and is no better. In my opinion it is not as good as this Behringer AMP because the sound is the same and these name brands frankly do not offer anything comparable with the versatility of the Behringer PA/keyboard AMP. I have spoken with the local musician store experts in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and they tell me it is almost unfair what Behringer is doing to the market with their Amps. Treat yourself. This is a purchase you will never regret.
