Good experience thus far...
Comments about Behringer Ultrabass BXL900 90W 1x12" Bass Combo:
I've owned this amp for nearly 3 1/2 years now. Since then, I've heard so many people trash the brand. Not this model in particular, but a lot of people seem to think the vast majority of Behringer amps are extremely low-quality. Once a guy tried to tell me that everyone he's ever known with a Behringer amp has had problems with them. Well, speaking from 3.5 years of ownership of this model, I cannot relate.
It's had 3.5 years of use and abuse, and though I get some crackling when adjusting knobs and EQ sliders during play(from wear), I'm not deterred. I'm willing to make some sacrifices. Especially for this price. Would I have to make those sacrifices with a more expensive brand? Probably not. But I'm also going to spend 3 or 4 times the amount of money for those brands. Thus I certainly hope I'd get top-quality with limited wear.
There's also the issue of the stated wattage being different than the actual output of the amp. It's plenty loud for a practice amp. And it can handle small venues pretty well, too. I'm not going to be playing any halls or coliseums with this thing. But again, going by price, it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. If price wasn't to factor in, I wouldn't buy a Behringer amp. But if you're like me, and you want to get some bang for your (limited) bucks, try a Behringer. It may not be top-quality, but it does get the job done. You've just gotta be realistic with your expectations. Only then, may those expectations be met or exceeded.

best practice and low-crowd amp I've ever owned
Comments about Behringer Ultrabass BXL900 90W 1x12" Bass Combo:
I've had this amp for about 3 years and have been blown back by the power of this amp compaired to other 90watt amps. I remember i was playing a show with this one night and i looked over at a houses windows and they were shaking during my solo.

Grate
Comments about Behringer Ultrabass BXL900 90W 1x12" Bass Combo:
This is a great bass amp. The 90 watts blasts low, have never turned it up all the way, its just that loud. You can change the sound with this amp very well. From a nice low sub-bass to a crazy disortion sound. Very good quality. If I was going to get another bass amp most day I would get the same model just with a higher wattage.

Quality unmatched...
Comments about Behringer Ultrabass BXL900 90W 1x12" Bass Combo:
For the price of this amp, the quality and adjustability is unmatched. A ton of punch for a 1X12. Great practice amp or for smaller halls or taverns. If you play large venues with loud , hard rockers, yer gonna need more. For where I play and what I play, it does me fine. (Classic rock and Modern Country) The ONLY minus I have is there is no accessory plug in for any effects.
