Behringer's ULTRABASS BXL3000 delivers a ton of great features in an economical package. A wedge-shaped bass combo with a powerful 15" speaker and 300W of output, it is a perfect size for most gigs. It provides a clean and a distortion channel, each with full control. Its 7-band EQ features a revolutionary See-What-You-Play FBQ frequency indicator that immediately shows you which bass frequency corresponds with which fader on your EQ to allow you instant sound shaping. Beyond that, a switchable ULTRABASS subharmonics processor and a compressor with adjustable threshold let you further tailor your sound to suit the style, while a musical limiter keeps you from ratting out when you're hitting the strings hard. An included 2-button footswitch lets you channel and ULTRABASS select on the fly. An FX loop is provided, and a headphone jack lets you keep your practicing to yourself.

i bought this amp because my band recently started playing parties and i need more power then my SWR amp. i bought this for the low price and high wattage, and it plays great. the EQ is very useful, and you don't need a preamp to sound good. i'm looking into buying another speaker for it, becuase i love pure bass frequencies and when i do that i can turn it up past 6 or it distorts the sound. but i can just plug into the house if i need to be louder. to conclude, great amp for the price.

this bass amp is a terrific buy. i bought it for the wattage and low price, but i didn't expect it to sound so great. it buzzes a little when it gets to a certain level, but it sounds like its just something from the knobs on it. the EQ is so versatile, and gives you a great range of sound. so, if you are thinking about it, don't think twice, just buy it.

I bought this amp mainly seeing the amount of power (300 watts) and the price was significantly low for wattage of that level. When this amp came to my house and I tried it out I was stunned at how well it performed. There is a tiny bit of a buzz to it, but what can you expect from an amp this large. I was very very satisfied with this amp and the quality of sound and also variety of effect you can create for a bass with this amp. Very worth the money.

Very loud and bright! This bass combo has so many features, and is excelent for any bass player, just do not turn the master volume and gain at full, because the speaker is rated 200W and the amp is rated 300W, so you can blow the speaker easily. Other than that, is a very good bass combo. My advice: GO FOR IT!
