Good Practice amp.

Comments about Ampeg BA-108 25W 1x8 Bass Combo Amp:

I just received this little amp and I love the deep tone and clear sound that it produces, I am very happy with my purchase. The ported box gives an airy but deep bass that is tight and full of tone!
The tilt back is a must for me, and this one has that feature! I'm sure I could take it to small gigs, it has enough volume for that, and for church gigs too!

Now for the nik-picking:
-No compression knob.....i know i know, its just a practice amp. (And for this price I cant have it all)
-The tilt back is a bit top heavy and can easily be bumped onto its back. (I moved the rubber feet from the bottom edge to the back panel bottom edge and this helped a bit to stabilize it)
-The labels for the knobs get hidden behind the countersunk amp because they are printed below the knobs, you have to look straight down onto the amp from the top to see the labels (volume, bass treble, etc.) ...although after a while you just learn where they are.

Over all, I am very happy with this amp and its price! The sound is all that matters in the end, and this one has a great sound. I recomment it!
