great deal!
Comments about Ampeg B2RE Rack Bass Head:
You gotta try it! With a StingRay Musicman or Fender Precision, it really kick arse. Sounds good with 410 - 115 combo.

it's Ampeg!!!!
Comments about Ampeg B2RE Rack Bass Head:
There are many heads with as much power that don't sound nearly as good. Some of those heads even cost more. Without having 1600 watts this is the best head that your hard earned money can buy! I love it and gig with it!!!

Ampeg Tone
Comments about Ampeg B2RE Rack Bass Head:
My roommate has an SVT III, and I fell in love with the tone that thing would produce through my cabinets, so I went on a search for a new head. I was dead set on getting a tube preamp, if not power section as well, but after playing this head I knew I didn't need it. This head really does have the same great tone of the other Ampeg tube heads (SVT III, SVT 2, SVT Classic) And it's loud. I'm running it through a 2x10 and a 1x15 @ 4 ohms total, and it's mean. Just for a point of reference, this is coming from a GK 700RB, the only thing I miss is the tuner mute, but I could never get this kind of tone or power from the GK.

Better than the B2-RE vs. SVT 350H
Comments about Ampeg B2RE Rack Bass Head:
I know what everyone is thinking, classic series are the best you can get, but when you look at the specs, This amp has everything the SVT350H does plus more power. I was going to go for the SVT but I tried this puppy and and got the same sound, and ran it at a lower volume. I paired it up with the SVT-610HLF and it was beautiful. I love Ampeg.
