Comments about Acoustic Lead Guitar Series G120 DSP 120W Guitar Combo Amp:
This amp is a major disappointment. I have found it to lack power and versatility and am quite sorry I purchased it. After trying the amp with quite a few different speaker configurations, I have learned that unless you have the gain and master volume cranked,, the amp is very weak and the overall sound leaves much to be desired. the clean channel is weak and is for the most part useless. The mid control serves to make the sound of this amp either boxy and dead sounding ,,or nasal and very hollow...the DSP feature is an outright joke,,there is only one control for the desired effect (depth). t didn't take long to find that all of the 16 effects are cheap sounding. the reverb is horrid and the delay is really not useful for much of anything.. Sadly, this amp is completely unsuited for Jazz ,blues, oldies or classic rock. If you play a heavily distorted genre of music, then you might get by with this amp, but still, the amp lacks power and versatility. I am not a professional, but have been playing guitar for over 40 years in this time, I have owned quite a few different makes and styles of amplifiers in my time, many of which which were rated at a much lower power rating,, yet these smaller, less powerful amps would easily blow this amp out of the room. I can not really find anything good to say about this amp, and I could not possibly recommend it to anyone
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
