Comments about Acoustic Lead Guitar Series G120 DSP 120W Guitar Combo Amp:

I have never rated products before, but I had to reply after reading the very negative review. I have used this amp for several months, and it is Great! There is so much power that I only turn it up 1/4 of the way and get plenty of sound. I paid more than the sale price listed here and it was still well worth it. It is great for distorted tones and the clean channel is just that- clean power-works great with effects pedals. I would recommend this amp for any style of music, especially rock ,but also jazz, because I was impressed that when you are not playing, there are no annoying noises. I think the engineers who designed this amp did a great job, and it is affordable, solid and sounds great- (if you have a great sounding guitar).I have used this amp with humbuckers, p90,and single coil guitars. If you press the mid-shift button, with a humbucker equipped axe, you can get an almost acoustic sound. This is a great, versatile amp. If there is anything negative, that would be that it is hard to read the setting of the dsp switch, but that is not a deal breaker.

This Amp is a great deal for the money! Nice built in effects. Plenty of volume for any sized venue. This amp is good for beginner to proffesional. This amp can be used for country, blues, jazz, metal and every other type of music. Comments about Acoustic Lead Guitar Series G120 DSP 120W Guitar Combo Amp:

This amp can't be beat for price and quality. It takes time to work out the variety of sounds you can get with the mid range and DSP feature. With alittle experimenting with the levels , you can get everything from a great acoustic sound to heavy metal and everything in between. This is not an amp to pass up. Buy it you won't be sorry! This is a very proffesional amp for gigging. Tons of volume also! This amp is a great investment!

Comments about Acoustic Lead Guitar Series G120 DSP 120W Guitar Combo Amp:

This amp is a major disappointment. I have found it to lack power and versatility and am quite sorry I purchased it. After trying the amp with quite a few different speaker configurations, I have learned that unless you have the gain and master volume cranked,, the amp is very weak and the overall sound leaves much to be desired. the clean channel is weak and is for the most part useless. The mid control serves to make the sound of this amp either boxy and dead sounding ,,or nasal and very hollow...the DSP feature is an outright joke,,there is only one control for the desired effect (depth). t didn't take long to find that all of the 16 effects are cheap sounding. the reverb is horrid and the delay is really not useful for much of anything.. Sadly, this amp is completely unsuited for Jazz ,blues, oldies or classic rock. If you play a heavily distorted genre of music, then you might get by with this amp, but still, the amp lacks power and versatility. I am not a professional, but have been playing guitar for over 40 years in this time, I have owned quite a few different makes and styles of amplifiers in my time, many of which which were rated at a much lower power rating,, yet these smaller, less powerful amps would easily blow this amp out of the room. I can not really find anything good to say about this amp, and I could not possibly recommend it to anyone
