Acoustic

A seriously powerful amp for serious bassists.

The Acoustic B200H professional head is designed for large club and live applications where it will fill any stage with depth and definition. Used in conjunction with the B115 and/or B410 enclosures, the B200H will easily drive either one or two cabinets in any combination of your choice.

The two bass inputs are designed to accommodate both active and passive bass instruments while the Gain and Volume controls give you complete control over the character of your tone. Increase the gain for some old school rock tones, or lower it and turn up the volume for great clean, classic or funk tones. The preamp includes a very natural and tube-like compression as well as a harmonically rich distortion circuit, which keeps your tone musical—even at high volume levels. The B200H also includes a notch filter to tailor your mids, and a six-band EQ for exact control over every nuance of your bass's tone.

Rear panel features include a parallel Effects Loop, and XLR balanced Line Out with Level Control and Ground Lift. The two speaker output jacks allow you to directly connect to each enclosure (such as the B115 and/or B410) to maximize your tone and power.

The heritage of Acoustic comes through loud and clear in the B200H—a seriously professional stage head for serious bassists.

Perfect Amp for clubs

By Billy P Project

from Cheboygan, Mi

Comments about Acoustic B200H 200w Bass Head:

Back in the 70's I used an Acoustic 370 with a 301 bottom, It was the perfect amp for my Rickenbacker. well over the years I have tried every type of equipment from Traynor, Ampeg, Peevey, Crate, Custom and a lot of other stuff, I started rockin after some years off so I bought me another ric and I just wasn't happy with my live sound, it was great in the studio but i was missing something live. So I thought I would try a new Acoustic to see if they were still any good. So I picked up the B200H with a 410 cab and wow, there it was the the punch and tone I have been missing for along time. I added the 115 cab just to help round out the bottom end and now at 4olms it's has great presences and attack, simple EQ It's the perfect bar rig, I keep up nicely with the Marchall's and they can feel my rumble which keeps them happy. They made this amp for the Ric, I'm sure. Billy P

Acoustic B200H amp head

By Don Landolt

from Pensacola, Florida

Comments about Acoustic B200H 200w Bass Head:

Having grown up using Traynor and Standell stacks and remembering the old Acoustic setups with the slide equalizer heads, I was skeptical when I re-discovered Acoustic heads again. This time, re-designed with turning pots for the equalizer slides. This modernized head is phenominal, re-creating the old bass head sounds with an updated modern touch. And at this price! No one can touch it!
