At age 11 she was awarded a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music and soon afterward made her first recording "TLC and Friends." After moving to New York in 1983, she worked with Stan Getz, Pharoah Sanders, Dianne Reeves, David Sanborn, Wayne Shorter and Gary Thomas.Los Angeles, The Arsenio Hall Show and Beyond
