The pedal generally does a good job sustaining the sound, but occaisionally will work in the opposite way. The user has to turn off the keyboard and turn it on again for it to work correctly. Sometimes it will only sustain and will only stop when the pedal is depressed and turning it off doesn't help.

So I realized I wanted one of these for my synth/workstation, and this pedal works perfect with it. I didn't realize it would be so solid either for the price; all metal and rubber construction here. A small item with a lot of creative potential, a must buy. Thanks, Music123.

This sustain pedal works. I guess there isn't really anything special about a sustain pedal, but if you use one as much as I do, they are very important. I have no complaints about it, it has a good feel to it, so I would recommend it for its price.
