The pick that stays put, never clicks, and sounds warm.
The unique and innovative Wedgie guitar pick is designed to be so comfortable, you'll never hold a flat pick again without noticing how flat it is. The Wedgie's contoured shape allows it to be held more firmly without changing its playing feel.
Wedgie Rubbers use a special elastomer material to nearly eliminate pick noise, leaving you with clean, warm tones. It sounds like your fingers, yet plays like a pick. Outstanding for classical and acoustic guitars, and for bass.

I'm using the 3.1mm hard version of this pick for my bass (I'm a pick player that wants a finger-like tone) and they really sound great. They are much easier to use and last longer than the felt picks I was playing with. The only negative is they might feel a little soft at first for some players, they really need to make an extra hard version.

Overall, I'm glad I got a couple sets of these rubber picks. They are easy on the hands and make for great practice aids. But, not much more.I'm sure you could figure out how to make some really cool sounds with these, for a change of pace. But, they play just like you'd expect. Imagine taking an eraser and strumming it. Well, there you go. The picks are very flimsy and sticky. They catch the strings very easily which makes upstrokes, for me difficult anyway. However, they do have some benefits. I'm just learning how to play guitar. When I use a hard pick my guitar is very loud and that shies me away from really getting into a song or rhythm--especially at first when it sounds terrible and awkward. So, I use the rubber picks until I get the chords switches and melody down. Then, when I switch to a hard pick it sounds 100x's better and is much easier to play (as the hard pick just glides over the strings, whereas, the Weggie sticks and grabs the 1st string on upstrokes and open strings that are a tad higher that fretted ones in a chord--and when it catches wrong you really hear it). The main benefits of these are there comfortable feel and dramatically lowered sounds. It's like muffling your guitar, which is good for practice if you're not a loner. And your strumming hand never gets tired--very comfortable and very easy to keep you hand in the correct position. The hard pick sounds better and plays better--I don't want to mistake that point.I bought 2 packs: 1 Thin-hard and 1 Thin-medium

Thumb strumming, without the blisters
Comments about Wedgie Rubber Guitar Pick:
I play all my guitars with a bar, open G tuning, and strummed with my thumb, or these rubber picks. The picks give a little more brightness than my thumb, still remain a soft sound alternative to hard picks. You can't break them, but they do wear the tips off, like using an eraser. If you like the sound of strumming with your thumb, then you'll love these.

wonderful ukulele picks
Comments about Wedgie Rubber Guitar Pick:
I ordered the 3.1mm soft pick for my ukulele. I love these picks. They work wonderful on the ukulele and give a brighter louder sound. I love how the picks are flexable and not hard like the felt picks. If you like to use picks and want a different sound order these.

a trial period
Comments about Wedgie Rubber Guitar Pick:
I have always found the clicking noise of a standard pick a source of irritation. Rubber seems to minimize that effect but it may be a little flat in its responsiveness as well. I'm still trying on an acoustic guitar.

Perfect for me
Comments about Wedgie Rubber Guitar Pick:
I purchased 4 sets of these picks (3.1 & 5mm in hard & med) to see if they worked to soften the strumming of my guitar while singing. They all worked, though I liked the 3.1 medium best so far. Will also try the soft models in the future. Can't comment on how they last, but my style and frequency of playing will most likely see them last a long time.

Ya gotta try these out!
Comments about Wedgie Rubber Guitar Pick:
I got these to use with both my electric & acoustic basses, and I have to say that they are just what the doc ordered, literally! It is getting more difficult to play bass with me fingers, so I figured I would give these a try, and I am glad I did. I have Flatwound on my electric & Tapewound on the acoustic, and it sounds so close to fingerstyle it is scary. Plus, I have got none of the flaking or shedding that others talk about because of the type of strings. The only problem is I got the 5mm, which is pretty heavy & wide. I think I will order the 3.1mm next just to see how they feel. Overall, a great sound, fun to play with, and a cool sub for your fingers!

wow.. sounds like my fingers
Comments about Wedgie Rubber Guitar Pick:
Almost no pick noise present. They feel very comfortable. I'm using 3.1mm medium and they offer everything I've ever wanted in picks: warm sound, easy to hold and after all.. they look cool also. Waiting for Wedgie to come up with more products!

Unique sound indeed!
Comments about Wedgie Rubber Guitar Pick:
I bought these picks for playing electric guitar. The sound is soothing and natural. Good for country/softer rock. I would recommend buying a couple packs though, because they wear away pretty easily.
