Weber-mazing
Comments about Weber Speakers Signature Series Ceramic 8 15 Watt 8" Speaker:
Background info: First off I have to say this speaker is absolutly amazing!!! I am a 7 year guitarist, musician and guitar tech. I play on the worship team at church and am in 2 bands; mine a blues, classic rock, rock band and my friends a Christian Rock band. I use a Egnater Tweaker 15h modified with NOS GE 6v6s and 2 JJ 12ax7s and a Raytheon MIT 12ax7. I use a Squier strat, heavily modified and more, but of late a garbage picked First Act ME446 modified. The speaker is housed in a Fender frontman 15g cab with the chasis out and made into a heavily ported cab, I use a digitech gnx1 pedal.
The speaker: The Weber Signature 8 speaker is outstanding, I used to have the original garbage fender speaker in my cab. The Weber is full, warm, perfect mid response, not enough high mids and treble for glassy Fender Twin cleans, but great for a never really bright sound, it is open and crunchy (do to the smooth cone). At church I run my amp at a low volume with a little grit from the amp, I use a digitech gnx1 for overdrive, delay and reverb into the front end of the amp, the speaker portrays the effects and distortion great. When I open up my master volume the speaker only becomes more dynamic, but i fear for its life, as it is only 15 watts and my amp is a 15 watt tube amp that puts out close to 40 watts, 10 more watts then the max handling of the amp. So i suggest pairing up with a nother speaker or three for safety and well we all love 4x12 now think 4x8 magic.
THE LOWDOWN: Buy this speaker if you love rock, blues, warm cleans and even freguncy responces. Beware this is a low watt, smoothcone speaker with early break up this means less clean headroom, easy to overpower but crunch heaven. This speaker sounds better than my WGS Veteran 30 for distortion, blues and warm jazzy cleans. I was 12" guy for a while and thought this rig was going to be my at home rig, I use it live because it sounds bigger than most 1x12s, minus a certain low mid a 8" can't reproduce loudly, but if you want a 8" to rock buy this!!!

Great speaker
Comments about Weber Speakers Signature Series Ceramic 8 15 Watt 8" Speaker:
Had a Italian Jensen in my Tweed Champ replica. Put in this weber and it blows the doors off the Jensen. HIGHLY recommended.
