First off, I am a bass player, who is kind of a newbie when it comes to effect pedals.
I currently use three pedals and a pedal tuner (Markbass Compressore, Tech 21 sansamp para driver, Boss Phaser, and Korg Blackout tuner), so I didn't need to invest in a huge board, but wanted something that was expandable if I get more into effects over time (I know how this game goes). I was also hesitant to pay a fair amount of coin on a product that I was not sure I needed.
I started looking at powered pedal boards, but either found them very cheap looking, or huge/overkill. Then I found the Pedaltrain PT2, which to me was just the right size. Of course, when you buy a pedaltrain, you need to also buy the power supply. After reading the reviews on this and other sites, it was a no-brainer to get the Voodoo Pedal Power 2+.
The Pedal Power 2+ gives me the expandability I desired, and the sound quality I require, plus the ability to mount it to the bottom of the Pedaltrain, keeping it out of the way but very accessible, was the deal clincher. You will need an electric drill and a 1/8th inch drill bit to do the install, on the Pedaltrain, but with the step-by-step instructions (with photos, nice addition), even someone who can barely pound a nail straight was able to get her done.
Very happy with the power supply thus far, no noise, and lots of room to expand the toychest later on. I was worried I would get the value out of this product, as the Pedaltrain plus the Voodoo power supply was more expensive than similarly-sized powered pedal boards, but I am worried no longer. I I saw the value after the first use.

This thing is great!! I have 2 of them. I tried a Dunlop DC Brick but there was a lot of hum, i returned it. Hooked up the PP2+ and viola!! no hum!!! Definitely worth the price. I had to get a longer cable for mine because too many venues don't have a power source within 6' of the front of the stage. I've had to order some extra cables from Voodoo Lab which is very easy to do online. I wish the cables that are included had right angle connectors. Other than that I have no complaints. Well worth the $$ and would be a 10 if my particular cable issues didn't exist but they may not be your issues.

I have several pedals and it became somewhat difficult to extend my btteries lives by unplugging the inputs every time that I finished using them.
the Voodoo Labs pedal power 2+ solved that problem ans was very easy to setup for the differnt voltages I needed.
I actaully think my pedals work better.
This is a great product at an oustanding price.
I would have paid more for this once I realized what it accomplished for my application.

Works like it should, I use a pedaltrain pedalboard and it has hardware that mounts it under the board, saving a lot of space. Glad I got it.

This thing is great, especially if you pair it with a pedal train and mount it underneath. It doesn't take up space, I've never had any sounds come out of my setup because of it... I really couldn't be happier (maybe more power jacks?). I also purchased a pedal recently that required a male/tip positive connector, and I didn't have to go far, as it's supplied with the PP2+... it also comes with a bunch of other connectors for various pedals (even a 9 volt adapter if your pedal doesn't have a power jack)... I'm running out of spots on this thing already and need to get another one! Love this thing!

Great to build yur pedal board. I saw it backstage of a satriani concert and i realize thet the furman bags are not the best solution. The trims for the 2 power simulate the wear of batteries, excelent for my wha!!!!! Sturdy, creat value and safe for my pricey pedals!!!!
