Made with expertise garnered from one of the brightest talents in orchestral percussion.
The Tim Genis Concert Snare Stick was made with input from Tim Genis, the principal timpanist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Made from persimmon, which is known for its density, durability and high impact resistance, these sticks produce a full-bodied and slightly darker sound than other wood. The density also gives added power, allowing the player to avoid overplaying. Length = 16.81.
Harness the dark tone and tough durability of Persimmon wood in your next stick purchase! Order today.

Comments about Vic Firth Tim Genis Concert Snare Stick:
I use these to strike the cymbals and Hi-Hat Tambourine on my marching carrier. Light weight yet durable with good rebound and sounds produced. Due to the density of the material they are produced from, the shock your wrist absorbs is considerably elevated, but I find this an acceptable trade-off, others may not. I keep two pair at the ready in my stick bag.
