I own 2 of these. I've had them since '98 and they've been all over the country and logged a lot of miles and a lot of gigs. A couple little chunks of plastic have broken off and the plastic caps on the lower pegs have long since disappeared but the stands are still fully functional and I see no need to replace them. I love how strong they are. They're easy and quick to set up/breakdown and they pack away easily. You do need to take care not to lose the rubber piece that goes across the top of the stand. The stand works without it but it does provide an extra measure of support to keep your guitar from falling out of the stand. They have a solid feel to them and I've never had one tip over. The rubber feet are great for wood stages where things like to slide around - not your guitar! I definitely recommend these stands for their strength and ease of use.

Good stand I bought to protect from damage to the nitrocellulous finish on my D41. The satin coverings where the guitar rests make the difference and will not disolve into the finish as the rubber padding or foam rubber-covered metal tubing will. Other stand manufacturers are missing out on sales.

I purchased the stand for my Alvarez acoustic. It was just what I wanted; strong, sturdy, and the locking legs top it off. Well, worth the price for the security, stability, and piece of mind of not having my guitar collasping to the ground. I will be purchasing another for my Ibanez RGR1570.

This stands folds up quickly and easily. I have no second thoughts about plunking my Taylor(s) on it. The stand is solid, well made and easy to transport. The rubber-tipped legs prevent it from sliding on a smooth surface. The foam padding protects the finish. There is a small rubber strap that wraps around the neck of the guitar and you must be careful to make sure this strap is secure when the stand is folded up and/or being moved. I plan to buy another one!
