With the cost of higher quality cables, these days, it is pretty easy to justify repairing your own ends, or even making up your own cables, especially if you have more than one or two to do while you are all setup and the soldering iron is hot. At the price of these ends, it is even a better idea!

That's all got to say. If you got cheap cables or a small buzzing or feed back in your cables by a single move in your cable like mine. You just buy this, cut that cheap cable head and solder this baby in there. And it's not really expensive ether and it a really solid head. So buy one is you don't want to spend more money on a new cable

I've had two Live Wire Roadhog cables for about 4 years. The tip connector on all but one of the plugs has recently worn out to the point that they are separated and spin when unscrewing the sleeve to reveal the wiring. A few years ago, I would have just trashed the cables after they stopped working, but now that I know how to do some simple soldering, I was able to use 4 of these plugs to make my two cables just like new.
