Comments about Svetlana EL34 Matched Power Tubes:

These tubes have a great breakup range, from around 5 through 10 on your volume knob. Considering they are usually found in 100+ watt amps as quads or 50+ watt in duets, there is still a lot of headroom. But the sound is pure and has great midrange with solid bass and treble tones. No extraneous sounds. Fantastic tone.

Comments about Svetlana EL34 Matched Power Tubes:

I got the Hard duet for my early seventies Ampeg V2. This particular amp runs stupid high voltages and is not set up to be clean at all. The hard duet is great for an amp that won't be run clean because they aren't really clean.

They break up nicely like EL34s should and I haven't melted them yet. I play loud, and in the case of this amp, usually close to ten. We'll see how long they last.
