I have three of these and they hold my LP being the heaviest guitar I have with no problem. It also hangs out far enough from the wall to hang my acoustics as well. One thing that I did because I got tired of draping my strap over the arm and getting that kink in it is Mount the wood block upside down and put a strap button on it and then your strap will hang straight and flat. Making it at least for me more comfortable to play and looks kind of cool too.

I have absolutely no complaints with this product. It works perfectly as designed. I would highly recommend securing the mount to a stud on the wall if you plan on putting a heavy guitar on the wall. Otherwise, the drywall mounts work well with lighter equipment. I've had mine for 6-months now and have had no failures from having both my Gibson Les Paul and acoustic guitar wall mounted with this hanger. Truly a great product.

i purchaed one of these string swing guitar hangers to safely secure my new $3,500 Les Paul, and boy was i surprised. The second i hung up the guitar the hanger broke in half and my vintage Les Paul was destroyed beyond repair. I hope all of you who buy this product will enjoy the high quality workmanship.

They work great. I was surprised how strong they hold on plain drywall. The drywall anchors supplied worked fine and I'm confident my Tele isn't going to fall. But, one word of advice, and it's no big deal, the holes predrilled in the wood base aren't perfectly alligned and each base is slightly different. Just use the specific base you're installing as a template for drilling the holes.
