Comments about Steinberger Low B 5-String Bass Guitar Strings:

Really hard to beat the price and an exact fit for my Synapse Bass. Nice clear piano type tone. One word of caution though. The B, E, and A strings have a taper on the bridge end. The original factory strings did not have this so in effect they sit lower on the bridge and create a lot of fret noise. An easy fix to raise the bridge, but I didn't discover it till out playing gig. Thought my neck relief ahd changed till I investigated further. Now that bridge is raised and playing action is acceptable, I'm sure I'll stay with these next string change.
