Comments about Squier Fat Tele Bridge Pickup:
I have no idea what's "fat" about this pickup. It's just a basic Telecaster bridge position pickup. My example has a DC resistance of about 3.9K. I haven't used it yet but this suggests it will have a rather high resonant peak and not particularly strong output. There's lots of space on the bobbin to wind on more turns and do a tapping option. It comes with no packaging at all. Mine arrived with one lead damaged; it will be easier to repair than send back. The pole pieces extend through a steel base and contact two (ceramic?) bar magnets. No mounting hardware included. Looks to be wax potted, done cleanly. Usable, appropriately priced.
