Very easy to use, and for the older guys and girls, very easy to place where you can read it. As a bifocaled guy, being easy to read is very important. Tunes quickly and acurately. This tuner gets used very regularly.

The Snark tuner comes with its own battery. Pop in the battery, clip it on the head of the guitar, press the button to turn it on, and...ZAH!!! -- you're ready to do. The display is very easy to read. Just adjust the string pitch until you get the green line in the center of the display. You get radial lines either side of the green "in tune" line to show you whether the string is flat or sharp, and they show how far away from "in tune" the string is. Also, the display automatically senses which string you're on and shows it in the display -- E, A, D, G, B, E. If you're using a non-standard tuning, no problem. If you're tuning to, say, F#, the tuner recognizes the pitch and displays "F#". This is without a doubt the best and easiest to use of any tuner I've ever used.

Previously, I used the inexpensive Korg GA-30 with a patch cable. I always had a bit of a problem with the Korg readout wavering, maybe going through pedals and volume & tone controls on the guitar caused some problem. In comparison, the Snark is dead steady and the readout seems to indicate at a finer degree than the Korg. I think that tuning on neck vibration is a more accurate approach for about the same money.
