Comments about Silver Creek Classical Guitar Case:

The case is well made. Love the beautiful green interior. The case says total length 40 1/4". That is correct. Although my guitar is an oddball size of 40" total length I thought I'd have a 1/4" clearance. Keep in mind that the padding at the bottom takes up about a half inch. So my guitar didn't fit. But with my guitar being oddball size (Takamine eg416s New Yorker) and other cases being too sloppy and the Takamine classical/New Yorker case reviews saying it was too sloppy for the New Yorker I took a chance. Being a wood worker I was able to pull back the lining and notch out enough material and re adhere the vinyl/lining (which looked factory when done) and she fit with enough clearance for it to be a great fit. Just be aware that the padding at the bottom shortens the available storage. Personally 39-39 1/2" is a better sizing. All said it is a very well made light comfortable to carry and expensive feeling/looking case. Despite the need to augment the case for my situation I recommended the case you'll be happy with it! Just make sure the total length works for you.

Comments about Silver Creek Classical Guitar Case:

I build custom parlor size archtops and these cases are a darn near perfect fit ,The accessory compartment needed to be lowered to fit the neck angle of an archtop.Easy fix! perfect! This is a really nice case and a good price.I have bought two of these cases so far and need a couple more. I include them with the guitars.

Good Fit for Gibson LG-1 too

    By DougWDuncan

Comments about Silver Creek Classical Guitar Case:

As a test, I ordered one of these for my Gibson LG-1, and just ordered another one for my second LG-1. These are 1950 and 1952 era, but my understanding is that all "LG" series guitars are the same size. You can get your finger along the guitar's lower bout when it is in the case, but it is held snug elsewhere. The length and depth are perfect for the LG-1. So, it a good-enough fit and quite a nice case for this bargain price!

I ordered a "000" size Silver Creek case for my Martin 000-18 last month, and am pleased with that one too. It was quite snug at first, but fits like a glove now.

    Professional Classical Guitar Case

    By william mchugh

    from Kettering, Ohio

Comments about Silver Creek Classical Guitar Case:

If you play classical guitar and have cheep case or gig bag this is a step up that will be worth it, for protecting your guitar. I have a Giannini and for the last 30yrs I've kept it in a chipboard case, and it offered no real protection. So, I looked at this case and took some measurements and went for it. I have to say this case is high quality, 6-latch with lock, green velvet lined, hard shell case, that holds my Giannini like it was made for it! If you love to play classical music than protect your baby and upgrade to this case.

    Solid case

Comments about Silver Creek Classical Guitar Case:

Very good buy. Case is well made appears to be a Guardian case for much less. These cases are a little shallow compared to others but work for standard size guitars. The weak spot is the covering. Its' a little fragile for a travel case.

Excellent guitar case for the money!

Comments about Silver Creek Classical Guitar Case:

I was very suprised with the quality of this case. I bought it for my round neck resonator guitar. It fit like a glove. This case is very well made. You could spend twice as much and not get a better case. Great value!
