Seymour Duncan

Transform your electric guitar into a fire-breathing man-eater!

The original custom Pearly Gates pickups were wound for the famous '59 Les Paul Standard that defined the raw, rebellious sound of Texas blues rock. Essentially a variation on the Patent Applied For sound, Seymour Duncan's Pearly Gates sound sweet, but is slightly rude, with great sustain and a bright top that make harmonics jump out of the guitar.

Great in an HSS Strat

By DemiGod

from California

Comments about Seymour Duncan SH-PG1 Pearly Gates Pickup:

I bought a HSS American STRAT ... the bridge pick up (Diamondback) was terrible, too muddy ... replaced it with a Perly Gates and added a Lace Sensor Gold at the Neck and a Blue in the Middle ... couple this with the S1 switching, and the Guitar is simply the most veritle and great sounding axe I have played ... Pearly Gates delivers a great Blusey sound with a lot of bit ... run in distortion & gain, it sounds like a Paulv ... great PU !
