Amazing!!

By Kris Lynch

from Wisconsin Rapids, WI

Comments about Seymour Duncan SH-8 Invader Pickup:

I bought this simply because it was fairly cheap, and it had all five star reviews. It gives me everything i could possibly want from a pickup. I get smooth, crisp cleans, and crunchy, thick distortion. It sounds great in any tuning from standard to drop A. I just love it. Buy this, you'll be glad you did.

awesome pick up period

By Max Sadowski

from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

Comments about Seymour Duncan SH-8 Invader Pickup:

I have the ESP-LTD Alexi Laiho 200 black guitar and it is an excellent guitar, From Floyd Rose to the neck it is awesome, except I wasn't really diggin' the EMG pick up. I just don't like EMG's, so I had it taken out and replaced by this Seymour Duncan Invader, and it definitely sounds a lot better, crisper, more razor sharp edgier sounding, plus it also sounds awesome when I dive bomb with the whammy bar and pinch harmonics, This Invader is an awesome pick up period. It's all you need for metal.

Oh man

By Matt-vL.I3

Comments about Seymour Duncan SH-8 Invader Pickup:

Everybody goes crazy over EMG pickups, and while EMGs are quite good, nothing beats the sound of the Duncan Invader. I recently put one of these babies into an old guitar of mine, and it brought this thing back to life! I plan on buying invaders for all of my guitars, because they sound amazing for a live show, and they are absolutely perfect for recording as well. If you're looking for an amazing overall pickup, definitely pick one of these up.

great pickup for a cheap project.

By commando brando

Comments about Seymour Duncan SH-8 Invader Pickup:

I've had a Squier bullet for a few years. When I decided it was time to put a new pickup in my Squier I chose the invader. My bullet special is Halloween orange and black so I figured the Black invader woul look good. I was right. The bright clarity of this pickup is crazy and the tone is beautiful. Just wait till you distort. It's awesome. I recommend this pickup.

By punkrocker

Comments about Seymour Duncan SH-8 Invader Pickup:

This thing is awesome, I have one in both my Fender Tom Delonge strats and one in my Squier bullet special. The invader invaded the world of music, this thing is awesome. It has a great distortion when the volume knob is up and if you want something a with a little less, just roll down the volume knob. ITS PERFECT FOR EVERY STYLE.

amazing!

By Nico

from c-town, nj

Comments about Seymour Duncan SH-8 Invader Pickup:

I have a BC Rich Bronze Warlock and I gotta say it doesn't sound like a Bronze anymore. It sounds better than the platinum and the NJ versions. It has a perfect balance of the sound between and Gibson alnico humbucker and a Fender single coil pickup. I am floored at the improvement this humbucker has made on my guitar I really couldn't be much happier with it.

Great distortion pickup

Comments about Seymour Duncan SH-8 Invader Pickup:

This is a great pickup. It has a great loud distortion sound. I put it on my Fender standard strat a couple of months ago and it sounds great. I highly recommend it for punk or alternative guitarists. The clean sound is better than my single coils were but it could still be better.
