Just Awesome!!!
Comments about Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded Humbucker Set:
Had them installed at the music shop, what a difference these pickup made. Now i will not have to buy a more expensive guitar. The guy at the music shop was impressed with them. I bought a DigiTech GSP1101 rackmount from Music123 and i am in love with crisp clean and loud sound coming the the pickups makes me sound real good. Get a set you can't go wrong.

articulate!
Comments about Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded Humbucker Set:
This pickup combo knocked me out. Just the right distorted sound, but every note is articulated perfectly. Perfect for sweep picking and tapping. Coil tapping and series parallel wiring makes any sound possible. I get the best clean sounds out of this pair, in love.

Great new tone
Comments about Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded Humbucker Set:
I replaced the stock pickups on my new PRS SE Custom with the SD Hot Rodded humbucker set....what a terrific difference! I love the easy playing PRS (great look & great price) and with the new tone from this SD set I've got a top of the line tone for a fraction of the cost of a top of the line guitar. I'm getting some very expensive sounding tones now through my Fender Bluesman '59 amp. I love these pickups.

Clear as glass and hard as steel
Comments about Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded Humbucker Set:
These pickups were installed into an ESP LTD EC-100QM guitar. Sounds like an unworthy candidate, but they sound awesome! Clear and bright with plenty of deep bass as well. Sound great together, and unique when played separately. Jazz is an excellent neck pickup as well. Included instructions were excellent. This sound is so versatile, it almost reminds me of EMG HZ passives, but these have more of a unique personality, whereas EMG to me sounds sort of clinical. I would definitely buy these pickups again, but I'd also definitely like to try some of Seymour Duncan's other offerings as well. I have a Strat-wannabe Ibanez that I'm thinking about going "Everything Ave" set with. Hope this review helps! :)

Good sound but not for power plays
Comments about Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded Humbucker Set:
This combo is a really good blues combo and some classic rock but for any power playing you will be using the JB in the bridge all the time. The Jazz model is a clean lower output 59 model which is great for Chicago blues, and jazz. But not for power rock use a pearly gates in the neck with a JB in the bridge and you can still get the blues sounds by turning down the guitar volume and tone controls but be ready for power playing to.
