Was thrown off when the Ruby tubes arrived and they were actually JJ tubes. Sent them back (easy exchange - well done Music123!) - and the same thing happened again!
Went to Ruby website and found out that Ruby is a DISTRIBUTOR, not a manufacturer. They, supposedly, modify the tube so it becomes a Ruby tube, which is stated on the sticker at the base of the tube. Thus, when you buy a Ruby tube, the actual tube may have JJ, Ruby, or another manufacturer's name on the actual tube. (I have a set of Ruby tubes that actually have Ruby ON THE TUBE, not just a sticker on the base of the tube.)
All that said, the tubes sound great! I used these to replace Groove Tubes in my Egnater amp. Makes a HUGE difference.
I will certainly use these tubes again in future when I need to get more.

I have a small tube amp that only uses one of these. After replacing the stock tube that had gone bad, I wish I had gone with one of these to start with. Now I can use the tone knob fully with and without my effects and not get any muddyness when there is more bass. I thought my speaker was not capable of good lows. I was wrong, It was all about the tubes. Nice and clear with the same sweet tube tone when I crank it up loud.
