I use this product to hold my bands guitars and basses at shows and this thing is awesome. It is a little flimsy though. Other than that its perfect.

Great Looks

Comments about Road Runner 7 Guitar Stand Flightcase:

While the 7 guitar stand flightcase looks great, that's about as far as it goes. I received the first case enclosed in a ratty looking box with the tape coming off and a few holes poked into the front and back. I accepted the box figuring it's a flight case, how much damage could they have done to it... After signing for the package I opened the box and inspected the case, I noticed the bottom had six or seven pen sized holes poked into the fiberboard siding. (Yes, fiberboard.) I opened and assembled the inside guitar stand/rack and noticed the flexing and bending of the entire case. Like I said, the case looks great but the fiberboard siding and flexing turned me off. I would not trust this stand to hold my mickey mouse guitar...

Very mediocre

Comments about Road Runner 7 Guitar Stand Flightcase:

So I got this case just over a week ago and the hardware doesn't fit tightly when the case is closed on the corners. It was packaged loosely in a box in which it was bouncing around in which may have caused the damage but honestly I didn't see any indication that it was dropped from looking at the outside of the box. Because it wasn't securely boxed (no movement) there are also tiny little impressions of staple holes (from the box) on the outside of the case. Unacceptable IMO.

The design of the stand part is also severely lacking. All the parts were moving around loosely inside the case and the top part of the stand fits by locking into the foldable sides. Well the holes for the top aren't even aligned right and won't even lock. The adjustable felt sticks for the bottom slide around easily when "installed" on the weak velcro strap. The velcro is so weak that the felt dividing sticks were just pushed around by the guitars.

The hardware itself seems sturdy enough and the individual parts but when you put it all together it fits/looks sloppy. Could just be the one I got but it says a lot about their quality control or lack thereof.

I will be returning this case for sure.
