The patented Planet Waves Dual-Action Capo is not your ordinary trigger-type capo. Compound action reduces the force necessary to open and close the capo. It also eliminates side-pulling the strings out of tune, which is prevalent on other trigger-type capos. Aircraft-quality aluminum construction adds virtually no weight to the guitar's neck when in use and the capo can be clamped on the headstock when idle. Simply adjust the tactile micrometer tension control so there is just enough tension to eliminate string buzzing and enjoy repeatable, in-tune performance at every fret.

I'm a performing acoustic musician and rely on my capo to support vocals. I own Keysers and Dunlops but found that these always needed a break in period before the spring tension didn't push or pull strings out of sorts. The spring tension on this capo is completely adjustable and can be set to resemble your hand tension playing a bar. Great right out of the box or blister pack in this case. Best of all, after a couple of years the spring broke. I contacted company, they apologized sending me a return authorization and sent me a new capo! I'm definitely a fan.

Just received and started using the new Planet Waves Dual Action Capo.. All I can say is "WOW". I have 9 guitars, and this works on them all. The new lever action with the adjusting screw allows the perfect pressure to the strings without the chance of marking up the neck of your guitar as often happens with other capos. I was using the Dunlop trigger, and after this... That one is tossed in the junk drawer. Give it a try. You wont be disappointed.

This beats many other capos I've seen before. It's the fastest and best on your neck than others because of the curved bottom goes with the neck than flat versions.
The spring screw is a brilliant design. Giving the right amount of tension on your strings.
I say buy this if you want the best there is. It's extremely light.
You won't believe it's solid metal!!!

With the micro adjustment screw, you can be in perfect tune at any fret--fast. Finally, this is the best capo I've ever used. Set it for the guitar you are using & there is nothing else to do but move it as often as you like --up & down the frets & always be in tune.
