Comments about Peterson R490 8-Octave AutoStrobe Rackmount Tuner:

Very solid well made product. I plug my amp auxillary output into it, rather than using the built in microphone. It has been very usefull for helping tune troublesome organ voices that occasionally have unwanted harmonics on certain notes, which make them difficult to tune with the normal ear. Tuning with the Peterson helps "clean up" the overall organ sound. It also works well on some lower pitches where its difficult to hear the beats.
