hard to tell as my box was missing the stand and boom portion of the product. I only rec'd the base. Has a nice sturdy base.
Service and delivery comments:
delivery was prompt but was missing two of the three essential parts, the boom and the stand. After 10 days of "customer service" emails(4) and phone calls(3) I was finally able to get a refund issued.

Got my first one in '98 and it's still goin' strong! These are solid, well built stands. They don't strip and slip like cheaper stands sometimes do. The heavy base keeps it from tipping over when "reaching" to get under a snare from in front of the kit. I totally recommend these stands.

I will admit that this item seemed quite pricey to me at first for such a "small" mic stand, but once I received it I could tell that it was worth every penny. The materials are high quality and the tripod metal base is very small and non-intrusive yet impressively heavy, preventing the stand from ever toppling over. I use this with a speaker cabinet but it can just as well be used for kick drum. I am completely confident that this stand will last a lifetime, and I'll probably buy another one for a second mic.
