Comments about On-Stage Stands Adjustable Height Desktop Stand:

A desktop mic stand should be able to hold an average-weight condenser mic like a Rode NT2a without tipping over. This won't do it without a counterweight. (I use an old toaster.) Its slightly telescoping extension is nice, and it would probably work fine as a kick drum or amp mic stand with a dynamic mic. But since desktop mic users are likely to use condensers, often accompanied by shock mounts, this just doesn't cut it.
