Comments about Musician's Gear Tweed Lo-Z Woven XLR Mic Cable:
If you're hesitant to jump on these 20 foot tweed cables by Musicians Gear, don't be. I was skeptical until I bought 7 of these and put them into use about two years ago. I haven't need new mic cables since. Not a single cable has failed me. Tweed is just so much more protective. I bought a couple of regular mic cables (same length and company), and they both failed me within a few weeks (the rubber that buffers the XLR connector and the rest of the cable coating fell off and later the cables cut out altogether). OK, I really don't think I need to continue this review. As an aspiring musician, I need not look further than these mic cables. I haven't even needed any more of these since I bought them! Great price, reliability, and length. Tweed doesn't just look good, it'll stand by you longer than the rest. If you need mic cables, I strongly suggest these so you can stretch your buck. You can put the money into mics or something else then.
