I purchased two of the 19" goosenecks. They are too loose, and simply do not stay where I want them to. Other folks reviewed them as good, so maybe both of mine are lemons?
The only way I can make them work is to have the first 12 inches aim straight up, then curve just the very top.

Here recently I have bought two Musician's Gear 19" Gooseneck's. These have made performing and recording much more enjoyable. The Ease and adjustability of these gooseneck are incredible! Being a percussionist, these are life saver's. I will reconmend these to anyone that needs that extra little space. I sing as well as perform on drums. the gooseneck place's my vocal mic in the right area. Thank you for making them so affordable.

I was worried that these might have been too flexible, and unable to hold a LDC mic without sagging. However, these things are amazingly stiff and will work well. Hopefully they maintain that quality after years of moderate use.

Works great, exactly like it is designed to. The black color looks great with a black mic stand. The cheap price makes this gooseneck actually several dollars cheaper WITH shipping than prices I found at Radio Shack and local music stores. You can afford to buy a couple!
