Spend your money on jacks. They are not perfectly straight..... My effects don't sit flat in place. They are difficult to unplug if they are on a pedal board.

These are the best thing ever for my pedal board, I like avoiding extra cables in my signal chain. I have no issues with the straight plugs because i can easily make the effect input/output's match up by using shims or a little extra velcro. I was able to eliminate most patch cables using these. They are also great for effects that are right next to each other when you wanna turn on/off 2 effects at once. They also make your pedal board look clean and are great for helping your pedals stay put during transport cause they are all chained together.

To be honest, I am not using it. I bought it for curiosity. I suggest you get the offset ones instead. The have a little more play. When you stomp on your pedals you don't want to accidentally break the connector...the offset one allow for the extra play. The are good quality and i'm sure they work fine...

I bought this because it seemed like it would be sturdier and less prone to failure than patch cords. It is indeed very sturdy, solid metal. One thing you should check before buying, though - if the output of pedal 1 is not exactly the same height as the input of pedal 2, this won't work. The offset version has a little more flexibility, by rotating you can accomodate anywhere from 0-0.5 inch height difference with that one.
