Decent product, excellent price

Not build like a truck, but they hold a mic like they are designed for. In our application they will be lost long before they are broken. So price is a huge issue.

Comments about Musician's Gear Die-Cast Mic Stand:

these stands are real thin and I wouldn't give them a year before they'd be junk. Sorry, but i returned mine after opening the box which incidently was damaged and missing 3 bases out of four. The product was not package very good at all. I went to another supplier and got a real quality stand for just a little more per stand.Nothing lower than 1 star so I gave it that.

Best value in a mic stand on the market... PERIOD!
This is easily half the price of the same item at other places. Sticker shock is the best way to describe what I feel when I see mic stands in music stores knowing that Music123 has the exact same quality item at a phenomenal price. I have 3.

Not much to say. It is what it is, a good, inexpensive mic stand. I have other Musicain's Gear products and haven't been disappointed yet.

        Well Worth the Price

        By

        from Moorpark, CA

Comments about Musician's Gear Die-Cast Mic Stand:

Pros: -Price (even with shipping it's very good) -Build quality. Exceptional build quality, and I don't doubt it could take a beating. -The die-cast base makes it very stable. You won't knock this over easily. Cons: -The fact that everything is detachable is actually annoying. It makes them easy to lose, and if you lose any of the three small pieces (the grip to adjust the stand, the little piece inside the grip to make it connect to the mic stand, and the piece that prevents the top part of the mic stand from falling inside the bottom part). This all could have been designed to be all one piece easily. -It's not exactly portable, but because it's a metal circular base, that's the cost. Not exactly a con I suppose. Overall, I'm very pleased with this stand. Even with its flaws, I still give it 5 stars because the price makes up for it. I would recommend this stand to anyone who wants a solid, quality stand that won't be moved around much.

A good, solid, mic stand and you can always add a boom later if you need it. Highly recommended.

An old design that works when you need it.

Comments about Musician's Gear Die-Cast Mic Stand:

Ok, so how much could you say about a mic stand, right? Well, its not THIS mic stand that concerns me. In fact this mic stand is very simply the answer to a solvable problem. The new mic stands that I am seeing a lot of have three fairly long legs that allow the stand to tip, the legs are long enough to trip on and the hardware is junk. This mic stand works. It doesn't tip or make you trip and best of all, its affordable. I got three. They are well built and you won't need to buy more than you need or pay more for less quality. If you need a mic stand. This is a great option.
