I bought the case for a new Fender Strat. The case looks good inside and out, but it needs more padding around the body of the guitar and in the top of the case to hold the guitar in place. When I put the guitar in the case and pick the case up I can feel the guitar slide down to the side of the case due to the lack of padding.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Electric Guitar Case:

I gotta preface my remarks by saying, "you get what you pay for." I got a great price for the case--Too bad I didn't get a "great case for the price." The body doesn't fit flat in the case, the latches don't line up---The case doesn't lay flat on the floor! I'll find another case for the Telecaster, ASAP.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Electric Guitar Case:

Case works with most strat and les paul style guitars and is much better protection than a gig bag. I would say for a road muscian it isn't sturdy enough but for the rest of us it will do.

    Deluxe guitar case

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Electric Guitar Case:

Needed a case for my Schecter Damien Elite and this deluxe model fit the bill. I had done a test fit on a buddy's case (different brand) and it didn't fit. More specifically, there wasn't enough depth to accomodate the angled headstock of the Damien.

But that's not an issue with this case

Build is good. Nothing is loose or wobbly. And really like the tweed look

    Nice Case

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Electric Guitar Case:

I bought this when it was a weekly deal. I've had my eye on it for a while. I was pretty resigned to going with the cheaper black case. But when it popped up for $56 I had to jump on it.

It's a very nice case. Sure it's not as rugged as some of the molded flight cases, but it sure is prettier. I agree with some other reviewers. It's not going to handle long-term road abuse. But for me it will work nicely, and look like a million bucks.

    Guitar case review

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Electric Guitar Case:

The hardshell cases by Musicians Gear are a great buy for the money. I have a LP case, SG case and generic case and for the money a very good deal. I also have a Gibson LP case and an Epiphone SG case and though they are more plush not worth the two or three times the price of the Musicians Gear. Unless you need the plushness or name on the case, I'd save the bucks and get the Musicians Gear case.

Hello, well i bought this case for a fender jagstang. when i originally called to place the order, i asked if the guitar will fit they said no. so i searched the internets but couldnt find any info. i pulled the trigger and yes the guitar fits perfect. side note please dont compare this case with cases that cost 3 times as much.

Not Bad but not a great fit

    By jason davis

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Electric Guitar Case:

Shipping Stratocaster & Telecasters the case looks the part. The quality is what you expect for the price, but the fit is pretty bad. The case is too deep & when the guitar sits in side the neck is now pointing "up". The case will push the head back down as it closes so you have to put about 1 inch of padding under the body to get it to lay flat. then the guitar is actually held tighter & at the correct position. The problem is not a "quality" issue, but a design issue.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Electric Guitar Case:

I have two Fenders- one strat and one tele. I have the G&G tweed case, but didn't want to lay out that much for a second case. This case is not a G&G, but I got it on sale. It is fairly well made. It is way better than the gig bag that I was using.

Surprisingly good case for the money!

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Electric Guitar Case:

I bought this black case to protect my Squier Stratocaster from my kids. I was pleasantly surprised to find how good a case this is, for the money. It is solid enough that my kids can actually walk on or beat on it without damaging my guitar. The padding is decent. The case has a nice sized accessory compartment that comes in handy.

Fit and finish are solid but not quite the same as a quality/high dollar case. The latches work great right now but appear to be a little on the cheap side and will be the first thing that breaks. My Squier slides around an inch or two, here and there so I may have to add a little extra padding for a snugger fit.

Overall, I am satisfied with this guitar case and would certainly recommend it to anyone for home use and the occasional outing for a jam session or gig.
