I have two now. Stable, portable & compact! They work well with a small foot print too.

            Simply Amazing

            By William Delaune

Comments about Musician's Gear A-Frame Acoustic Guitar Stand:

I've had lots of guitar stands including other small A-Frames. I've liked them for their portabilty but haven't been as pleased with their stability. This Musician's Friend stand has a very wide, flat and deep cradle that does a tremendous job of holding acoustic guitars and autoharp type instruments. The very secure width adjstement for the legs (spring loaded, button locked, multiposition metal plate) makes it suitable for multiple instrument bottoms. That plus the amazingly price make this unit a no-brainer.

Some of the other reviewers have commented on the foam cushioning negatively interacting with instrument finishes but I haven't experienced this.

Comments about Musician's Gear A-Frame Acoustic Guitar Stand:

I originally got one of these stands for my guitar, but later used the stand it for my small portable amp. It works for me cause it matches the other stands in my music room, an keeps the amp off of the floor for slightly better sound!

Comments about Musician's Gear A-Frame Acoustic Guitar Stand:

Solid as a rock... I bought hoping to use it as a cheap mandolin stand... and it works well! I put my accoustic in it too... As a side note, if you have a martin, gibson etc, you should buy a higher end one on principle (don't buy cheap stand for a fancy guitar)

A frame accoustic guitar stand problem

            By jingmaster

            from Undisclosed

Comments about Musician's Gear A-Frame Acoustic Guitar Stand:

I have a Martin HD 28, put it on the stand and the rubber part at the top of the A frame left a mark on the finish; not a scratch but something in the rubber bonded with the finish itself and has to be polished out. I also have a Taylor 214 with a satin finish. The guitar stand also stained that guitar too, but the stained came off with some polish that removes streaks, a very soft glaze, for a final polish. The satin finish seems tougher than a gloss finish. Reguarless, I think that there is something in the rubber that is reacting with the finish. I just put a rag over the top to protect the guitar to use it.
