Exclusive SingleHelix construction with dense shielding for lower noise and rich, more natural dimension to electronic keyboard sounds.
A million sounds. A million sonic possibilities. That's the beauty of the electronic keyboard. Yet, some of this beauty can get lost. Ordinary wire can promote unwanted interference and a thinner, more one dimensional sound. Monster Keyboard Instrument cable features advanced technologies including low-noise SingleHelix constuction, and MicroFiber dielectric which delivers a full rich tonal quality and maintains the phase integrity and frequency balance of your keyboard's signal-even over long lengths.
- Specially designed conductor layering in multiple helical bundles for improved high frequency signal alignment
- Multiple-gauge high- and low-frequency wire networks for accurate, natural sound reproduction.
- MicroFiber dielectric core for accurate lows and extended frequency response
- Dense copper braid for maximum protection from EMI
- IsoTec vibration isolation technology eliminates cable microphonics
- 24k hard gold-plated contact 1/4" connectors increase conductivity and resist corrosion

Comments about Monster Legacy Monster Keyboard Instrument Cable Straight-Straight:
The Monster Jazz is a nice, mid-priced instrument cable for jazz and probably most classic rock guitarists. I was primarily interested in using it for jazz. The good news/bad news is that it really seems to color my tone, using my stock PRS Singlecut. If you like a fairly layed-back, traditional clean jazz tone, this is good; I think this may get me close enough to the desired tone to avoid having to buy a hollow-body jazz box like a Gibson ES-175. If you're an absolute purist, it may be unacceptable, because one effect it has is that the frequency distribution is noticeably skewed. Compared to my generic cable and also the Monster Rock I bought at the same time, it feels like the presence is rolled off, but the dynamics and range are meatier than the generic. Didn't notice much change in overall bass, which was about right to begin with. The upper-mid is definitely accentuated, and everything is a little cleaner and smoother. Overall the end result is pretty nice, for the advertised purpose. Don't expect to use this cable to enhance your ability to rock out, you might be disappointed; it's harder to pick out the difference, but I think it cleaned up my tone a little when I dialed up a high-gain tone for grins. It also seems a bit steep in price, so I'm hoping it will last as long as the other Monster products I've purchased. All in all, a pretty worthwhile purchase. Just make sure you know what you're buying and match it to the intended usage.
