I was using regular instrument cables before hand and wasn't getting enough clarity out of my tone. Bought 2 of these suckers and noticed an immediate difference. I also have Monster instrument cables too and I recommend those also. I'm using a Peavey 6505 through a Mesa Road King slant cab and playing on an Ibanez RGR521EX2 so I use LOTS of gain and these cables handle it exceptionally well. I won't play through any other cable.
