Well designed for the working musician who wants the best connection between their instrument and their amplification. First of all the connectors themselves are not only beautiful shiny gold... but designed for fingers to grab for easier connectivity and especially dis-connectivity!!! Then the cord itself is just plain simple to unroll and re-roll. It is amazing how easy it is to control the cable instead of having the cable control you! Actually this is my FIRST Monster cable and now I wonder why it took me so long? Cheaper cables are NOT really cheaper in the long run... get the Monster, it is pretty for sure... but it works GREAT!!!

Due to the rugged build quality the Cable can easily tangle. For me it is not a issue but it needs to be noted for other customers to be aware of.

Been playing bass since 1963 and have gone through too many cables to count, not to mention all the cable repairs. I didn't purchase my first Monster cable until 3-years ago. I always thought they were over-priced but I found they are more durable and actually improve the sound of my bass signal to the amp. I purchased this as a backup to the standard series Monster cable, with molded plugs that I've been using. During the past three years, I've stepped on it three times and when I moved, it actually brought me down. Besides the embarassment, I figured I did some damage to the cable, but the Monster cable keeps on performing. I also like the velcro 'cable-keeper' that allows me to wrap the cable neatly to pack up. I tried to find something negative to say about the cable and the only minor point is that the packaging is a little difficult to open - not as bad as the glued clamshells - but this one is riveted. I'm a little tired of a cable throwing me down onstage but until I can find a wireless system that has a comparable quality signal to my amp, I'll stay with Monster. The way it's been going, I may never need to use the backup cable. I only rated this new cable 4 stars since I haven't used it for a long period but I believe it will last at least as long as my 3-year old cable.

Excellent cable without breaking the bank. Should have bought it long ago. Truly hear your instrument without the noise. Only gave it a 9, since I have only used fore two weeks. Waituing to see how it stands to the test of time.

I have 12' and 21' cables. I tend to take pretty good care of my stuff so I haven't had to cash in on the lifetime warranty but my bass player's dog chewed his and he was able to exchange it no questions asked from a place he didn't even buy it at! That alone is worth the price.
I'm not some expert on sound but I know when I upgraded to these cables I heard a difference. More frequencies go through these opposed to cheaper cables. Your tone will open up - tighter lows, pronounced mids and more presence - more tone! And these things can take a beating, I tend to jump around a lot so they constantly get stepped and pounced on. Mine have played LOTS of shows and like I said, no problems.
These cables are a MUST HAVE if you play guitar. They are absolutely worth the price!!

You can get more expensive cables but you won't hear the difference. Try this quick test. If you are using a cheap cable, lay them down equally, plug your cheap one in jam a few chords then quickly switch to the monster cable, you will wonder why you waited so long. Yet, buy another "designer" cable for twice the price and do the same test, you will not notice the difference. Why pay more. You can even record the test above and then listen back. Keep all settings the same, just change the cable. I I cannot imagine anyone not loving this cable
