Comments about Modtone MT-CT Chromatic Tuner:
I tried the modtone chorus after purchasing this (about two days later, before I had a real chance to try this), I had to return the chorus twice since there was some sort of high frequency distortion on it with both pedals I received.
ModTone has done it again with the tuner. It's like a little child as far as consistency goes, is this an E, G or perhaps nothing at all? I've owned a Korg stage tuner, a Boss stage tuner and a Hardwire (they were stolen, lost or spilled on which is why I tried this cheaper pedal, I gig a lot). They are all spot on unlike the ModTone. Trust me mine isn't defective, out of curiousity I tried others, same issue. Alongside my bad experience with their chorus I have only one conclusion, ModTone are a poorly designed, cheaply made hunks of junk.
You may try and save yourself 20-30 bucks by purchasing this. In the end you'll most likely throw it in the trash and purchase a Boss or a Hardwire for the extra $, and this will all be a bad memory and you'll be $80.00 poorer. You get what you pay for that's for sure. So dig a little deeper and do it right the first time.
