I am very handy but novice at this type of installation, and lacked the proper tools, so I chickened out and paid a professional to install rather than let myself destroy my instrument. I'm happy enough with the results. You need a nice amp to adjust the sound to perfection.

i got this pickup a couple weeks ago and it has been good to me. Of course the martin name is one of the greatest and that is one of the reasons i bought it. i play my old fender redono though the HORRIBLE PA system at my school, but this pick-up makes it sound pretty good. Great buy for a performer that is just playin for fun.

Years since I wanted to upgrade my acoustic pick-up. Mine is a rarity Suzuki,Brazilian rosewood,etc.I had one of the original Shadow pick-ups,but was already very uneven,plus it's its own saddle.The Thinline-332 is so easy to install,and most of all,the sound is so round, AND,it has NO feedback!I have no need to cover the sound-hole when it's plugged in!Besides the new saddle,I also replaced all the frets.Now I can't put my acoustic down!My only regret is not having done it earlier! And nobody beat your price - Gracias!!

My friends Epiphone pickup was dead in the middle of the ribbon sensor. In addition they use a flimsy plastic bridge saddle. I replaced the pickup with this martin thinline, removed the shims (there were 5 of them), sanded down a bone saddle insert (under $5 at a local shop)and the sound is tremendous. The whole process was less than 2 hours and made his inexpensive guitar sound like a million. He thanks me, I thank Music 123. Superb product and value for money.
