Great Traveling Stand!
The Manhasset Voyager Music Stand is perfect for touring musicians or groups. The Voyager stand has a solid, adjustable desk, yet is completely portable. With the Voyager music stand's lever locking mechanism, it takes only seconds to assemble or remove the desk and with only 2 parts to keep track of, the Voyager stand can also be stored or transported in its own tote bag (sold separately). The Voyager music desk is identical to the Symphony Stand desk (20" wide x 12 1/2" high). The height of this music stand varies infinitely from 26" to 48" (lip to floor) with a maximum overall height of 60 1/2 inches.

Nice sturdy stand. Sure beats the spindly wire stands that we all grew up with. Folds compactly and fits into voyager stand bag. I don't know why some people are removing the tripod before putting it into the bag, It is not necessary. The bag does wear out. It needs reinforcing on the corners. Replacement bags are available. The stand however is great!

The advantage of this stand is that the "desk" is full size and metal Manhasset stability. It will handle a big book of music or a heavy folder, and will accommodate a standard stand light and music clips for securing music when playing outside. I dislike having to take the tripod legs off the stand each time I want to carry it in the "tote bag" so I end up not using the tote bag for anything other than carrying the "desk." All in all, it's still a pretty big parcel to tote around. Also, the "wing nut" that adjusts the opening on the desk shaft to fit on the stand is a little quirky to use. Maybe there's a trick to it that I haven't figured out, but for me...it's hit or miss. It's not perfect, but it will do. The tote bag could use some modifications for longevity and carrying the stand without taking off the tripod, which involves removing a bolt. It still beats lugging my regular Manhasset.
